No need for a rematch. Keep it moving. It wasnt a split decision and not even a majority decision. Close fights happen. Close games happen in sports. Thats the beauty of sport the competitiveness. A great fight should be close. Not every close fight needs a rematch. Much respect to jacobs, he took his size and weight advantage and still came up short. But he has heart. But lost respect for him during the interview after the fight. GGG is at least humble and always respectful.

If half the world is divided on who won then yes it should be a rematch. There was no size advantage they both weighed in at the allowed weight. This has been going on in boxing for years. Canelo, Guerrero, Maidana, Ortiz, ,Cotto all outweighed by 10-15lbs and we never heard a word.

mayweather is black.... Dont you know black fighters cant make excuses? These fan boys want floyd to fight ggg who weighs more than 170 on fight night but are complaining about jacobs being heavier..... These scumbags have no morals or shame..... They only care about weight and size when a white hypejob gets exposed.....

what does ward, maidana, floyd have to do with a cheating jacobs anyways?

Jacobs will get his rematch when it is time for him to get it , GGG is going for canelo and that last belt. no need to be rude.

They both entered the ring at light heavyweight by your logic my friend. Trip weighed in at 169 and some change (over 168 is LHW) the morning of and likely finished rehydration to 170+ before the fight.

I understand wanting to see Trip vs Alvarez but why not see a rematch of a good fight?
