Alvarez on the other hand will be in front of GGG, and he won't be able to moved out of the way when GGG is going to hunt him down in the ring because he doesn't have the legs or lateral movement for it un like Jacobs.
We need to wait for the Chavez Jr. bout to literally see his body and performance. Until then, our opinions will have to be reevaluated.

I think one of the reasons why DSG had problems with Matthysse was because of the height differential along with Herrera. Look at Rod Salka, about the same height as Matthysse but piss poor power and nowhere close to those mentioned with skill. Alvarez imo has all the tools to beat Golovkin.

The best part is to see what Alvarez will do on the ropes because Jacobs, even though he was caught, at other times was able to read Golovkin's incoming hooks and rolled out. That's not an Alvarez style, so that might be Alvarez's achilles heel against GGG. BUT, Alvarez can take a punch, and has enough upper body muscle to take Golovkin's shots imo...compared to recent opposition. and remember the best that play rope a dope use it to transfer the opponents power into the ropes

      Lara UD's him easily.

GGG will be matched very carefully from now on. His body is declining and he cant pull the trigger as much anymore.
