To beat GGG? GGG just fought a 6'1 cruiserweight with 90% KO ratio, along with a great defense and counter punching skills, feet, and heart, that is so much more durable with all that weight advantage against GGG.

Against a 5'8 1/2 Canelo that is only going to be 5 pounds heavier against GGG, with a shorter reach an with cemented feet.

He doesn't need to be just like Danny. Canelo already has a better resume than Jacobs. Canelo has a better chin, greater accuracy, great power (mostly through his combos). Doesn't lose his focus as quickly.

Mostly, Canelo didn't get knocked silly by Sergio Mora...

I agree with all but the five pounds heavier. He'll be on up there as always.

Jacobs was most effective with head movement and catching Golovkin as he moved in. He didn't sit down on a lot of shots either, he was just landing good, sharp punches.

I said Canelo wins last year, I say the same now. His upper body movement, counter punching and general skill set will win that fight.

Canelo is a lot better fighter than DJ, things just got real interesting.

Canelo does not have better resume of fighting GGG sized fighters than Danny. That's all that matters. He does not have comperable power to Danny who has an 88% KO ratio vs guys his own size and not WWs like Canelo. We don't know if Canelo has a better chin. It's not been tested vs guys his own size. Danny did not lose focus and GGG repeatedly praised him for that during the press conference. Canelo has never fought Mora so there's no way he could have been knock silly by him.

In recap, you're wrong on every point.

When have you seen Canelo hurt or taken a punch from a good sized MW? I'll give you a clue, never.

Better Resume doesn't translate to better skills/ bigger size/ longer reach/ size advantage over gennady. Jacobs had much more advantage over GGG because of all the traits he had on size, skill, power, Canelo has none of this.

The only thing Canelo have to rely on is pure upper body movement and counter punching to slip Golovkin because he doesn't have the feet to get away from the GGG man unlike Jacobs, and be sure to prepare Golovkin's going to be behind his jab all night because Canelo will be the shorter guy with no foot work against GGG who will be happy to pop that jab against a slow moving target.

Canelo has faster hands, better defense, higher boxing IQ, better chin. Canelo an excellent counter puncher will time and light GGG a basic slow head first fighter. Will set traps all night while GGG runs head first into them. Combos and hand speed will have GGG resetting when he does throw it will be one big shot at a time that are telegralphed. Canelo can fight well at multiple distances and make adjustments on the fly. GGG makes no in fight changes. Fighters who give canelo trouble are guys who run from him. Aggressive come first fighters he has destroyed his entire career. Thats what a counterouncher like canelo wants.

GGG couldn't outbox Jacobs who isn't as skilled as canelo so he has no shot winning a tactical boxing chess match with canelo. Mark my words canelo will make this one dimensional slow no defense fool look like angulo. Take him deep in the fight and stop him late or win a wide decision.

I don't know if Canelo wins but he's a hell of a lot more accurate then Jacobs.

A lot of times Jacobs made GGG miss and flung some wild shots that would have done some big damage but they were too wild.

I just want to see the fight happen, take the $10-$15 million GGG and make it happen.
