I said, before this fight, and was saying for sometime that I favour DeGale in that fight.
I used to think he beats DeGale handily but Chunky is getting more muscular and has great lateral movement (his best asset). If he can avoid the stamina lapses, he will circle/strike, circle/strike all night. Golovkin needs to plant his feet to make his magic work.

He'd better stay away. His team also need to STFU about it.

well the reality is certainly on my side. today we see how high lil g's ceiling are, how he react to frustating situation in touh tactical battle. the verdict is he's one dimensional, and i dont think he will improve since he already 35.

I always favoured James in that fight. I think DeGale is a very underrated fighter, but that's his own fault. He loses the focus for no good reason. However he does have a chin and I don't think that Gennady would be able to easly stop him even if he catch him.

I would favour GGG to beat Groves and to be a slight favourite against Rodriguez.

Agree about this, but also think much of that is the response to people asking when is he moving.

Now we can all agree that he has some real competition at 160 and he can finish his legecy there.

Maybe move for one or two fights at 168 and that's it. If he beats Canelo, Sanders, Eubank and Jacobs in the rematch (+beat Hopkins record) he will have a very solid resume that is HOF worthy.

He is just big enough for MW at age 35.

"Moving up" has just become this generic thing people spam on boxingscene regardless of the context.

In the super 6 days he'd have been in trouble
