I actually like golovkin. But I don't like his fan or his bullying tactics.I also don't like how he's labeled a slugger. He's a boxer puncher.

He's a technical boxer with heavy hands that wears people down by accumulation. He's not one punch ko artist.

In fact Golovkin spoils fights with his JAB. He did it to Lemieux, Stevens, and tried to do it with Jacob's. It's been proven in every fight The same way "slick" fighter use defense and movement. Golovkin spoils fights with the jab and when the opponent looses focus he blitzes them. That's his whole technique. Part of the reason he probably won't go up. Because there's taller guys who will outjab him.

Canelo vs golovkin will be a different fight. Because canelo presumably won't be able to jab with him like Jacob did. Jacob's didn't out jab him but he could jab with him when he needed too. Jacob could easily keep him from setting up shots from the jab. Canelo will presumably be smaller in height and reach and if he eats a few jabs will likely get hit with something after it. It's a completely different fight and almost impossible to say with out seeing how canelo handles a full mw.

So, Canelo beats Junior and GGG beats Saunders to clean up the belts at 160 (as long as they throw enough dosh at BJ to make it happen) and then it’s on to Golovkin v Alvarez in late summer? I don’t think so. Golden Boy has already shown the blueprint for avoiding GGG and they’ll surely stay glued to it – make another offer they know won’t be accepted and keep telling everybody that Team Golovkin has turned down the fight. A con job, yes, but while it stinks for us and for boxing itself that the clash is unlikely to happen any time soon you can see the sense, business wise, from the Mexican perspective. Canelo is a cash cow that can be heavily milked into the future without being risked against Golovkin until at least the end of 2018. Even Bob Arum would take that view if it were his hands on Canelo’s udders. Should their upcoming fight be entertaining, as seems likely, a rematch with Junior might be a goer for still more money than they’re getting this time and, after that, the Japanese Ryota Murata could be in play. The gold medallist from London 2012 is huge in Japan. It’s a fight that could generate big numbers, especially if put on outside of America or Mexico. Oscar wouldn’t entertain that, of course, but Jurassic Bob sees the big picture and would have had no qualms about siting a fight like that in China which has a growing fan base for boxing and where they are now throwing insane money at imported footballers. And Arum would have ensured fair play by taking three judges over from the States and reminding them beforehand which side their scorecards are buttered on. Whichever way you look at it, guys, Golovkin is not in the business plan. Feel free to disagree.

        then it's a good thing you're not a judge,

Now Canelo have much more tools ,and you cant denay that GGG is slow ,Canelo will have speed advatage and better defense,GGG reach advantage is minimal i wont be big factor here.

as For Stamina ,ppl offen say Canelo have bad one ,but i never seen him gas,as for GGG his visable tired (look at his face and way he breaths).

GGG need to turn volumes to beat Canelo ,cuse his out put as for today is to low.
I've never said Golovkin was the best MW ever am ATG or P4P number one. The people you are talking about should be immediately dismissed. What he is, is a very good fighter with a great style to watch. He is the best MW in the world and probably belongs in the top ten P4P. He is 35 years old and fading, he will lose soon I believe but I don't think Canelo does it.

First, I would like to congratulate Golovkin on his victory last night. I thought he was awarded a very close decision that could have gone either way.

Personally, I scored the fight for Daniel Jacobs because of his overall ring generalship and combination punching. It was a good fight and I wouldn't mind seeing these two matching up again.

However, in any case, it was a good night for GGG. Therefore, I would like to wish him and his fans all the best and to relish in this victory for as long as they can.

I say that with all sincerity, because now since he has been exposed and knockout streak broken, I just don't see being an undefeated champion for very long.

I don't know who, it may very well be Canelo. This is all conjecture man. None of us know what's going to happen for sure when two fighters get in the ring, all we can do is predict off of what we have seen. I like most everyone else thought Golovkin would take care of Danny by the 8th. Danny had other plans. I will say this as far as Canelo vs Golovkin goes, the quicker this fight is made the better for Golovkin. Canelo is on the up and Golovkin is on the down side as far as prime physicality.

It never ceases to amaze me , how clueless fans can be. For those of you thinking that Canelo would beat GGG , just stop it please.
First of all GGG was in there with a man that outweighed him by at least 15 punds. The size difference was obvious. Not only that , Jacobs is one of the hardest punchers in the division and landed some bombs on GGG , he at no point was hurt. Also Jacobs showed a lot of movement and angles , switching stances etc to keep GGG at bay.
Now tell me ladies how is Canelo going to hurt GGG , if he cant event knock out lesser competition and old boxers. How is canelo going to avoid GGG's punches if he doesn't have the foot work to move around and fight on the move like Jacobs.
Canelo is limited , he is shorter than GGG and does not posses the stamina to survive 12 rounds of pressure as he gases out late to mid rounds.
                    Think about that
