Came here to see all the criticism on GGG and wow its thick. Problem is people score fights off of favoritism, reality is GGG won the fight. Jacobs put up a great challenge and pushed GGG, made him earn the victory. Most blogs had the same score as well.Comment

Cong**** to both men, people talking shhh as usual. This was not a robbery it was a close fight that could've swung either way and credit to Jacobs despite all the shhh talkers who were in here talking about him like was a shhh fighter. Jacobs is a great fighter and should command that respect. He has a lot of advantage he didn't capitalize on possibly because of the weight and he took away a lot of Golovkin's arsenal but there isn't anyone at 160 that is going to have an easy night against him. Great f'ing fight, absolutely great fight and tons of heart by both men.Comment

Jacobs deserves respect. That was a superbly disciplined performance with only a couple of lapses that cost him heavily in the end. The length, the jab, the movement, and the handspeed when they traded inside all gave Golovkin fits. I honestly don't see how he could have won any less than six rounds.
Golovkin looked really poor in the pocket to me. Couldn't throw combinations and was losing most of the exchanges. Danny was faster and was placing his shots better. Golovkin's own jab kept him in the fight.Comment

You should have kept running. Anyone who calls that decision a "robbery" is either dumb as hell when it comes to boxing or they don't like GGG because he's white. The damn score was accurate for the type of fight it was. A hard close fight with a knockdown but Jacobs did stay on the defensive too long at times also.Comment
