What exactly is it about GGG that certain boxing fans don't like?

Honestly there's not much to dislike about Golovkin.... there are some that are unreasonably harsh with their criticisms because he's white, to deny this is laughable.

But he also has some of the worst posters on here as fans, I've been here through all of it. I remember when he first came through on HBO, his fans like Jubei said he's good for boxing (he actually is) because unlike other fighters (Floyd) he'll fight anyone and he doesn't care about money because he's not a businessman. We told these guys that all that is BS because no fighter will fight everyone and that every fighter is a businessman. It doesn't matter how feared or who thinks he's the boogieman, every fighter weighs up risk and reward.

GGG is a quality fighter but he's human and he's done things that his staunchest of supporters would not tolerate from other fighters. They can't bring themselves to criticise him no matter what, see Maxi's praise and defence of the Brook fight for example.

GGG hasnt got the resume or the current talent pool in his division to be called a p4p top 5 or an ATG.

Some people will say it's Sanchez (much like their hate for Freddie Roach), some will say it's because of his resume and him being hyped up, some will actually admit its because he's white (which we all know is the case for a percentage of posters here..Kigali..you know who you are), and some will say its because he's co-cky.

Either way the question is why do you dislike him and very few have actually bothered to truly answer the question. One I saw was regarding talking down to Willie Monroe as a reason he doesn't like him, fair enough that's actually answering the question.

At the end of the day people here for the most part can't answer the question honestly because it will reflect horribly on them. I've seen people talk about Floyd getting 10x the hate, well here's a fact Floyd played the heel because it made him richer than any other boxer in history, he made the conscious choice to do so. Other say Ward gets invalidated hate, which is fair enough one can argue for and against that (not the moment to get into that debate) but the same guys talking about Golovkin being a hype job (which of course they are entitled to) are the same ones who I watched on here try to validate Broner, Russell Jr, and now Spence before they actually truly accomplished anything. So is there an underlying identity issue here? Clearly and it's glaringly obvious that some fans just shhh on anything that isn't to their agenda.

Why do I like golovkin, why do I like Floyd, why do I like Pacquiao, why was I huge Roy Jones fan? Because I enjoy/enjoyed their styles for different reasons.

Golovkin is the best MW in the world and one of the best fighters in the world. He doesn't **** bag in the ring and fights as many times as he can every year.

If you dont care about P4P or ATG then thats your prerogative, but then you dont get to blindly call him one of the best in the world ? lol theyre kinda two of the same..

He's the best middleweight in the world, in a division that is B level and pales in comparison to MW divisions that have come before it. I never said he wasnt the best MW in the world either lol. I hold judgement on him being one of the best fighters in the world until he faces somebody who is also A-level. I'm allowed to do that, it's called an opinion.

I have never said i dont like GGG nor have i said i dont find his ability and fights entertaining. Ive always said the opposite, so i dont know if that insult was levelled at me but it doesnt fit either way.

Anybody who hurls insults without being able to see two sides of a discussion in an adult way when the other party is just relaying a point in a civilised manner shouldnt be taken seriously.

GGG isn't hated at all. It's a myth that has been created by two primary factors

1. Spam from the same 4 or 5 guys , some of which may be alts, dominating the GGG forum topics

2. The desperate need for a certain group of fans, that despised Floyd Mayweather, to have "ammunition" to fire back at the Mayweather fans that they had to deal with for the past several years. These individuals WANT certain fans to hate GGG so they can "have their turn" at talking ****.

These 2 factors have created a myth that one of the most popular and loved stars in boxing today is somehow an enemy
