It is disgusting how Jacobs is getting everything handed to him on silver platter!

That will all come to a halt when GGG beats Jacobs up and knocks out this one hit wonder. Jacobs will find out the difference between GGG and Quillen. GGG can take Jacobs's best punches and come back with harder punches that Jacobs can't handle. I made the mistake of overrating Jacobs off the Quillen win. Quiilen is the only good fighter he ever beat. The rest of his wins were over very poor opposition. Murray, Monroe and Lemieux might all beat Jacobs. As Mayweather used to say, Jacobs will be easy work for GGG.

My hope is that the other sanctioning bodies follow the IBF's lead and introduce a second day weigh-in too. The closer to the fight, the better

Maybe not enough to decide this particular fight, but it definitely could decide others. Something needs to be done about weight bullies. Moving the weigh-in still further from the fight so they can rehydrate even more weight is not the answer, it just enables them even more
What needs to be done is to return to weighing in a few hours before the fight. They never had fighters gaining 15 pounds back in the days when the weighed in about noon for a fight that same evening. Boxers only had time to add a few pounds at most. It may seem like some weight bullies are cheating but they aren't. They are staying within today's fuced up rules.

While GGG hasn't proven to be as good as May or Pac, Jacobs isn't even as good as some of the guys May/Pac were being outweighed by. GGG will be fine.

Jacobs has a better than 60-40 purse split.

NYSAC requested an early weigh in so their boy Jacobs has more time to rehydrate.

Jacobs misses the IBF 2nd weigh in even though he committed to fight for all the belts as evidenced by making weight for the WBC 30 and 7 day weigh ins.

Hopefully GGG KOs this privileged cheater.
Anyone force Golovkin to fight in NY?

Anyone force Golovkin to give him 40%+?

Any proof they did that to benefit Jacobs?

Jacobs wasn't required to weigh-in, this is a WBA mandatory not IBF.

And I think Maidana had 17lbs on him if i'm not mistaken. and that was an old past prime Floyd vs a younger powerful swarmer.

                    Yea, Maidana 165lbs, Floyd 148lbs.

Agreed. Hell, why not weigh them in the dressing room just before they walk out. That would eradicate weight games altogether
