He turned around and said Jacobs didn't do anything wrong. Then tried to justify it saying that Jacobs is only fighting his WBA mando fight and nothing to do with IBF which is untrue because this fight was for ALL the belts, including the IBF.

Hypocritical, obviously. The lack of an uproar around Lemeuix vs Stevens is because it was Lemeuix vs Stevens, a non-title fight not even close to the magnitude of Golovkin vs Stevens. In other words, not as many people cared whereas this is a huge fight in the world of boxing.
Jacobs agreed to fight for the IBF belt. He had to since all the belts were listed in the contract because they have to be since they have to sign off on the fight in writing and sanction the fight.
It's a cheap move by Jacobs, poor sportsmanship for sure. Doesn't take away from the fight much though, it's an awesome fight between the #1 and #2 guys in the division regardless, still it's disappointing to see from Jacobs.

He was. impressive by the big dude. Even got his left foot pivot down. Good footwork! I show people this who say boxing isn't a good fighting skill to have in the "real world".
If I had to take a guess, I'd say he was coached by coach Natas Robinson. A master in the gym and a savage in the streets.
