He drained himself to fight at 160 so he could break Monzon's record and not have to rematch a still prime RJJ. He priced himself out of that rematch and didn't fight him until Jones was damaged goods.

GGG is durable, has power, and enough boxing fundamentals that he would be able to give Bernard a tough fight. Bernard liked to fight up close and dirty. He would be tasting some leather against GGG on the inside just like he did with Calzaghe.

Now RJJ at 160 would have toyed with GGG for 12 rounds to a UD victory in my opinion.
You don't look at resumes yet say Bhops is weak, its like you jump all over the place, fact is Bhop is battle proven all the way from MW to LH and beat great fighters and lost UDs to ATG fighters, who has GGG beat nobody not a single elite MW and blatantly ducked Ward while Bhop is fighting the best LHs at 50 yrs old.

You can have GGG knocking over average guys if you like and get all excited by the Butterbean approach it has always worked for casuals that don't understand the sport very well because any idiot can see a KO, give me a single fight with Ward and you will see all GGG is made of but then that's why they ducked Andre in the first place.

GGG is unproven against elite comp his best win is a WW that's the hard facts, even now he is in with a guy that's been stopped and then dropped by Sergio Mora and fanboys are trying to make Danny out to be the terminator he couldn't win a title in Bhops MW days.

No way B-Hop, you wouldn't have the fire power to neutralize the pressure and extreme punching power of GGG. Dream on into retirement.

You have a reading comprehension problem. I didn't say "I don't look at resumes", what I said was "I don't JUST look at resumes"...there is a difference. But you are clearly hung up on defending your favorite fighters at the expense of impartiality. You are unable to take an objective look at a fighter without your bias firmly intact.

As for Jacobs, he's better than Jermain Taylor, the guy who beat Hopkins twice. But GGG haters will discredit anyone he beats. Talk about an agenda.

I really don't have favorite fighters I like all boxers and have a lot of respect for them all, what I do have is groups of fanboys that I dislike a lot and will stand up to ******ation that just attacks fighters, I can have a good convo with anyone if they are are practical and have good knowledge of boxing, fanboys with heros that are either praising their hero or hating on others I have no patience for Im way to old to argue with teenagers that don't know sht from clay.

You say Im hating because I say GGG has fought nobody, that says volumes for your knowledge of boxing, youre just a fanboy .

Prime Hopkins did not jab and grab bro. He was a very complete fighter who did everything well. The version your describing came much later. I would likely favor the Hopkins that beat Tito over GGG.

A lot of people looking ****** right about now. LMAO

Anyone who still thinks GGG would ever stand a chance with Hopkins needs to be drug tested. Hopkins boxes this chumps ears off like I said before the Jacobs fight. Tonight only reconfirmed the obvious. Hopkins either schools him like Pavlik for 12 rounds or takes him out late like the tito fight.

you dont know shyt about boxing. And let's see what GGG looks like when he's in his 50s. A prime Hopkins makes GGG look like an amateur.
