He was 40 when he lost to Taylor and Taylor was a heck of a boxer even if is durability was questionable. Prime Hopkins will likely frustrate and decision prime GGG. Both great fighters.

Maybe he could have, maybe not. Either way, it would have been a great fight, and Golovkin is better than Trinidad as a middleweight, by far. I would have certainly have favored Roy Jones to outbox GGG, as long as he didn't get caught with a big punch, as then with his chin it could be curtains.

Bernard destroys GGG in his prime. No question about it! Anyone who disagrees is delusional!

This thread is a great example why Golovkin gets so much hate. His fans are ******ed.

Doesn't Golovkin have like 10 fights before that happens? Or are you adding the Mickey Mouse regular WBA defences to the total? The title that Jacobs has? WBA can have 2 world champions per division.

                    the ONLY question is.....

we don't know if GGG is good enough to beat prime Hopkins

                    not the other way around

anyone who doesn't realize that needs to get a grip

Bhop embarrasses the phuk out GGG makes him look like Pavlik for 12 rounds or stops him late like he did Tito. GGG is limited in skills with zero defense or head movement was getting lit the phuk up by a mediocre welterweight brook. Bhop systematically broke down a alltime great welterweight who PROVED he was great at 154 and beat a legit world champ at 160. Brook not proven at 147 leap froged 154 and still busted up GGG face and lifted him off the ground with shots. Tito hits harder and more skilled then Brook can ever dream.
