Miles Gordon-Darby beats Jamie Ambler 39-38 on points over four rounds in the inaugural fight of Eddie Hearn's NXTGEN series. Having switched to boxing following a promising mixed martial arts career, Gordon-Darby (1-0-0, 0KOs) looked relaxed jabbing to head and body in the early exchanges.

What a terrible card so any decent fight is now on PPV. Sky sports is just plain rubbish all nobodies on the card

I didnt watch and I'm glad I didnt....it was just a card that would pop up on an average night at the York Hall with some ok-ish youn fighters on show. Howi t madei t onto TV on prime time on SS1 is beyond me.

Dont quote me on this, but i think these NXTGEN cards are in addition to the dates Matchroom already have from Sky. So its not taking any dates away, just adding more boxing to the schedule.

I like the idea. I like that they are giving there young pros a way to keep active and build a profile.

I personally enjoy the card. Keep an eye out for Felix Cash, who should get a Southern area title shot this year.

Reece Belloti was the highlight for me. Nice pressure and finished it with a big KO.

Will watch him again. Which is exactly what these nights are about.

Cash im not sold on, but he has some skill and is physically very imposing (at least seemed that way vs a natural 154lber last night). Be a good addition to British level im sure.

Anyone see the opponent they got for Isaac Chamberlain?

                  6'8 at Cruiserweight

                  Looked like a circus act.

Wilted once he was ****** to the body obviously being that he probably hadnt eaten solid food for a month or two before weighing in

Those young pros would have been active anyway on untelevised cards against these journeymen opponents.

Sky has fewer fight night cards now than ever before, these extra dates could have been used to showcase superior fights.

I'm trying to think of how many shows they've had on Sky in the last years.
