Golovkin vs Jacobs ticket sales

In fairness to ggg, comparing ggg vs jacobs to canelo vs chavez jr in terms of drawing power is never going to be favorable. Mexicans are some of the last loyal boxing fans and both canelo and jr have huge followings. Jacobs has almost 0 following and ggg has a following that's indicative of the state of boxing with mainstream sports fans. There just aren't big stars anymore and ppvs are selling like ****. Even pacquiao barely cracked 300k ppvs...some even say as low as 215k, and he has one of the most loyal fanbases in the sport. There are very few fighters who are going to sell out arenas and do good ppv numbers just on the strength of their own name...it's just the way it is now.Canelo/Smith sold 51,000 of them and filled up a football stadium. If it wasn't in a football stadium they would of increased the prices you idiot. GGG is in a small basketball arena that holds max 20,000 and this is billed as GGG's biggest fight of his career something the Smith fight wasn't billed as for Canelo. Smith is a no name never fought in the US similar to bum no name Wade who GGG fought last year. Difference is Canelo fighting no names STILL produces a bigger live gate then GGG fighting his biggest fight of his career. LMAO
Funny how you comparing Jacobs fight to Canelo's Smith fight rather then his Chavez fight which just sold out in days with 2 months to spare before the PPV and no undercard announced in a comparable size venu as GGG/Jacobs. Once again trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes. Tell us again how selling UK PPVs for 15 bucks is just like selling PPVs in the US for 70 bucks is the same? Dude get over it there is no comparison Canelo is the bigger draw in every way and it's NOT close. just admit it and keep moving you embarrass yourself and real GGG fans when you do this funny math tilting the boards just so GGG still loses to Canelo even with the most laughable extremes you conjure up.Comment

Crying? faggot? lol, I'm not the one going on every thread, replying to every post defending another man's honor.
Think about that for a second gayboy, you're on every GGG thread, defending the honor of another man that excites you when he has his shirt off. And you want to call everyone a faggot? lmaoComment

cotto-geale only did 12000 in new york. ggg is going to almost double that and cotto was the a-side against canelo. lets see if canelo will give a reasonable offer to a guy who is more popular than cotto or hes only willing to do that against guys he knows he can beat.Comment

Sold tickets were 45k according to ODLH. The rest were given. They were cheap tickets just like in GGG-Lemieux in 2015.Canelo/Smith sold 51,000 of them and filled up a football stadium.
