Brook would have been blowing like a milk horse mid to late fight he was carrying weight he wasn't used to,

GGG took risks because he knew he was in with a WW that couldn't really hurt him so he just got on him and chased him down until he broke him.

Everyone is beatable

Of course GGG is beatable but not by any current middleweights. The key to beating him is being the aggressor. He's not half as good going backwards. In order to do that a fighter needs power, stamina, and a great chin. Maybe one of the younger guys like Jermall Charlo (recently moved up to middleweight) or Jarret Hurd (huge junior middleweight who has to move up soon) will catch up with him when he loses a step.

How to beat GGG? It's no secret, you dont have to be a boxing trainer to know it: hurt hm physically, impose yourself, make it a dog fight, takeh is hsots and keep dishing your own shots out. He cant punch when you're up close with him, stifling his work and physically imposing yourself.

I said that was the best gameplan for Brook to use if he wanted a shot at beating GGG. I rememebr people quoting that post and saying that was a crap idea. It's not. He arguably won 2 rounds and landed some serious punches. Problem was, he was not a middleweight or one accustomed to the weight. Plus GGG hits so damn hard.

What we require, is a fighter with Brook's guts to work the plan but to be able to match GGG in size and strength.

There's no one like that at middleweight. Moving andp otshotting cant beat GGG becauset he man is a classy boxer, can cut off the ring and is more accurate than most so called "slick boxers". Moving andj abbing is only going to get your ass beat worse.

So, Ward tactics then? Getting in close, roughing him up and spoiling his boxing.

I'd like to see Canelo attack the body of GGG with those hard hooks and see how he copes with that.

I'd also like to see Lara try and outbox him, to see if GGG has the boxing brain to solve that puzzle.

Billy Ray Cyrus, I mean Saunders, would be easy work for GGG. I also see Eubank troubled despite his unconventional style, I don't think he'd be able to keep GGG away.

Did he not say before the brook fight that he better not look too good, and went on to take some shots.. Appearing to be possible to hit easily is what got the Jacobs fight across the line, DJ says it himself, he seen what brook could do and wanted a piece.
If you're a complete wrecking ball, maybe you have to show weakness to lure in the big money fights, otherwise promoters wouldn't want to let you near their money fighter.
Like Gallagher says, he's willing to take shots if there's not much risk and he'll land his own. A ****er like lemiuex, he jabbed and boxed, so is the kell brook golovkin really going to be the one that turns up for Danny Jacobs? Sounds like that's what he's banking on

To beat GGG you got to make it an ugly fight. stay on the inside and constantly tie up and clinch to make it that way. GGG is a class A fighter with plenty of amatuer experience so the man knows how to box. Stay inside and make it physical and in time hope is age and body shots take effect.

Ward doesn't throw that many punches and does not hit hard at all but yes, the stifling, spoiling would damage GGGs chances, plus Ward has a ocnsidering size advantage, height and reach both go his way. Having said that, he would have to take some serious punches from GGG, would his chin be able to handle them?

Canelo doesn't really fight like that though. Yes, he is a decent enough body puncherb ut he isn't particular budy and does not have world level stamina (its improved a lot though). GGG is too big and too skilled for him.

As for Lara, is boxing is vastly overrated but he could have been a great track star.

Saunders is very skilled but I have no clue about his desire and physical condition as of now.

In every sport there are those that stand out as being special. Golovkin has certainly shown that he has what it takes to be one of the greatest middleweights in history. You can play on the same court, field or (ring) as them but how many would best them. No one is invincible but right now there's no one at 160 that can beat Golovkin. Jacobs? I don't think so but we'll all find out tomorrow. Looking forward.

I agree that Jacobs, Lara, Saunders, and Canelo will all ask different questions..... all are good/very good fights

and I agree that Canelo has the best chance

Golovkin is the best middleweight

Yeah, Canelo has the best odds of beating him. He has very fast head movement and very good hand speed and a very underrated body shot with power.

I would give him 60/40 chance of winning... I would rate it higher but I don't know how well Canelo can take a full MW's best power shot like Lemuix??? I think Chavez is a VERY dangerous fight and a VERY good test before GGG. He'll be fighting a much bigger, and stronger boxer. Who also has good power. We are gonna learn a LOT from that fight. FYI Chavez looks in GREAT shape also. Seems he knows his father's legacy and his CAREER are on the line.

It would take a middleweight version of 'Sugar' Ray Leonard, Pernell Whitaker or Mayweather to have a good chance of beating Golovkin, who is not as physical as Hagler but seems a bit more relentless. Except for the Hagler that pitched up against Hearns, that was best 3 rounds ever seen in a short fight.

I really don't know why they say that was the best 3 rounds in boxing history. it was ok but not the best
