Almost every top fighter has been called a coward by you and other keyboard warriors. I wonder why the sport of boxing attracts so many cowards. I suppose the athletes with loads of courage go into other sports like baseball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, bowling and track.

The inactivity really puts a damper on both fighters. I would love to see this fight, even to see a 43 year old Marquez. But neither makes any $$$ while sitting out. As such, demands by either fighter that would prevent the fight from going forward harms them both. Marquez likely won't be fighting any longer if this fight does not happen.

Also, this fight never happens at 147. Cotto hasn't made that in awhile and he's not getting any younger. Marquez is wise in requesting this limit, but that's a big concession for Cotto. If the fight actually happened, I think Cotto would win, due to size advantage. He would knock Marquez out, but he's just too big.
