Cotto is no Alvarado. Miguel will be too much for Marquez, steroids and all. I don't see Marquez coming back against an elite at 147. Thurman, Spence, Brook, Garcia, and Manny would all beat his ass. Even chinny Khan out boxes him. Doesn't look any better at 140 against Crawford either. Stay retired if you aren't going to rematch Manny clean and tested.

Seriously if Cotto was even to consider coming down to 147 its not to fight Marquez because he could make way much more money fighting for a title at 147 against Thurman or Brook. Winning a title one more time is a big selling point for a fight, so Marquez can take that ass elsewhere. I never wanted that fight to start with. It does not intrigue me at all.

Cotto and pac have the same trainer plus pac wont fight another big boy again, no 147 no fight, same deal as marquez... i cant care less marquez is just too old and too many injuries, he needs to stay retired. I would rather see cotto-thurman, thats more competitive, and will still put my money on cotto by stopage...
