Pretty sure Mayweather-Hatton did over 1.2 mil

Great numbers for fights that started at 4 or 5am though.

Either way I'm still shocked that he is also the biggest boxer in the UK, I was expecting Froch/Groves to be the biggest PPV event in UK history, or even Joshua/Martin imo should have brought more than fight's that start at 5 AM

Considering Haye Harrison was rumoured to do 800k I think wlad and haye definitely went beyond 1m.

rumour at the time was both guys getting around 20m pounds.

According to the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board, which I believe is the most credible source for British TV ratings and has been cited in BBC articles before, Haye vs Harrison did only 223,000 while Haye vs Wlad did 1,143,000

It also says Froch vs Groves 2 did only 355,000 and Mayweather vs Pacquiao did 876,000

Hmm, I think most people know that Froch vs Groves did around a million buys. Even Froch himself confirmed that a couple of weeks ago. 355 would be considered a major disaster, and that fight was one of the richest and most anticipated fights ever on these shores.

So I'm not sure about that.

Haye took home almost 10m from the Harrison fight and it was called the first 10m fight in UK history.

So without knowing for sure, I doubt those numbers are accurate.

Gareth A davies, a respected journalist in the industry quotes 800k in this article. Far more believable than 223 imo given Haye's popularity at the time.
