Have to agree with Arum, the fight was whack and am disappointed with what Thurman did in the championship rounds. The PBC could of made a statement that night too, what a way to blow it.

Thurman did not beat Garcia at close range. He has zero inside game. He caught Garcia cold early then ran the rest of the fight stopping only to throw pitter patter punches in the last 30 secs.

You are full of it, why couldn't Danny cut off the ring on Thurman or at least try to? He was all too content to lean on the judges for another gift decision. Danny was flat footed and Thurman exposed that weakness after outworking Danny at close range.

Running? He simply knew Garcia is flat footed so he piled up points and landed the better shots and not getting hit while Danny was just staring and telegraphing his punches. Thurman is the better fighter and had the better gameplan. The benifits of having an actual trainer in his corner and not some crackhead just cuz it's his dad.

Danny didn't try hard enough because he's used to getting gift decisions. Father and son even thought they won. In the end Garcia admitted not letting his hands go because he's too scared of getting countered.

Danny landed a higher percentage of his punches. In fact Thurman only landed 25% of his punches. You have made your entire argument invalid with your above statement.
