Peterson is a champion too and he beat Garcia I think. He had Danny backing up and holding. Lamont can take Thurman's shots and deliver the body blows to slow Keith down.

In the coming weeks, World Boxing Association President Gilberto Mendoza Jr. is going to issue an order for a mandatory fight between Keith Thurman (28-0, 22 KOs) and Lamont Peterson (35-3-1, 17 KOs). People seem to forget that Peterson came in at 165 lbs against Garcia. So Peterson is a big WW, probably bigger than Thurman and would trouble Thurman. I don't see Thurman stopping Peterson now that Peterson seems to be a big WW that isn't draining himself to 140 anymore
