    Legalities...

Can't sell for less than TV or you have problems with distributors.

Same as canelo ppv streams my guess because if they make it cheaper then HBO broadcast then people could go buy the cheaper stream and HBO would be pi ssed.

Not HBO being pissed... cable/satellite operators like Comcast/DirecTV that run tons of ads for the event to help sell it.

Because, using the international feed, Golden Boy magazine stands to take HBO's 7.5% fee on every buy they get to move off of HBO and to their website.

Oscar takes a fight that he has no fighters on the bill for, and has found a way to make his company a bit of coin on the cheap. For the fan who wanted to support Golovkin or Jacobs, and didn't have access to the direct HBO PPV, Golden Boy gives that fan an option to watch the fight on their computer, tablet, or phone.

So they'll make like $100, big money.

Oscar created the platform to get into the digital/streaming space to promote his fighters. But we are seeing more and more he is using the platform to air events that he has not promoted for non golden boy fighters. What will be interesting is they use this in between fights or rounds to promote ring magazine and up coming golden boy events. Wonder if they will air canelo/chavez ppv promos on K2's dime during GGG own PPV. LOL

                      Estimated sales online... 6 buys = $400.

Hardcore fans read ring and know where to stream.
