Ring gets into the PPV game

Interesting that it will feature the international announcers and not HBO....

#GGGJacobs WILL be available as streaming PPV ($64.99) on Ring mag website. All 4 PPV bouts with the international announcers, not HBO's.

But the ring is biased though. Owned by De La Hoya. Why they helping Lil G sell PPV's?

It's a simple deal... Ring keeps 50% of whatever is sold on Ring digital properties. The rest goes to the promoters.

Oscar trying to make money by any means necessary. Heard he'll be on the next season of RuPaul's Drag Race too.

Ring tv has been building their platform for 2 years now. They have streamed the last 2 canelo ppvs using their own announcers instead of HBO announcers (HBO doesn't get a cut of those ppvs sold). And have done countless other undercards, english broadcasts for Estrella Spanish fights, and have put on monthly regular Ring TV specific shows. They have the production crew and infrastructure it's only a matter of time till they create their own subscription based service.

Been saying ring tv at some point will branch and get into more broadcasts for other promoters they mostly handle golden boy promotions but have done some events outside golden boy. This would be their biggest non golden boy event. But I can see more promoters using them since everything is already in place and at some point them replacing HBO and other traditional networks because streaming is the future and they will cut out the middle man.

Yup HBO doesn't have a live streaming platform which is plain ******. So if you K2 you losing out on potential cord cutters that don't have cable to order the ppv. UFC has their own streaming service for ppvs. Ring TV has already proven they can do this and have used it for canelo.

The irony is GGG fan girls hate Oscar yet will literally be paying Oscar a cut when they order the fight. LMAO

Why is it the same cost as the cable company?

Now Golden Boy can say they only got 100 buys and GGG doesn't deserve $15 million
