            To me, the ultimate standard in middleweight history is Hagler, not Robinson. But Golovkin approaches neither fighter. The competition simply isn't there. The level of dudes that Hagler fought (and whipped) is miles above the guys Golovkin is fighting.

            Robinson less so; moreover, he dropped some fights at middleweight. (Different era, with guys fighting every few weeks. Robinson is the best welterweight of all time, arguably with Leonard.)

              Exactly. I dont know why dudes keep mentioning Robinson when talking about the great MWs.
