Favor, not necessarily. I would admit Floyd would be favored by the majority but if Im being honest Floyd would probably win a tough decision. Im not sure what Floyd has to do with Tszyu handling todays 140lb division though as that was the topic of this post right. Do all roads lead to Floyd for you?

By the by, crawford is a good fighter but Floyd Mayweather he is not if thats the connection you are trying to make. He moves to WW he will become average.

A prime Tszu KOs Crawford no problemo. His straight right was a lightning fast crushing bomb. He would be number 1 at 140 now just as he was in his prime.

I personally think kostya could rule the 140 division if it was similar to the time in which he fought. Nowadays its difficult to determine who is the best in any one division simply because there is no requirement of anyone to unify or even face high ranked challengers. Money always finds enough red tape to hold up a mandatory...and the ability for lower ranked contenders to become champs thru vacant titles then hold them hostage for 2 years plus the introduction of catchweights allowing fighters to fight for middleweight belts at a 155 limit ruins any chance in this era of comparing to fighters of the past. Back then....kostya was a genuine jr welterweight who fought all the other genuine jr welterweights for all the belts. Where do you see that now?

So, you don't think Crawford rules the ww division if he moves up?

Phillips was a B grader and Judah at the time was as green as grass.

KT never fought a defining fight against an elite fighter, go watch the Hector Lopez fight .

Oh I've seen it. Lopez got the shaft for sure. I agree.

But King Kostya beat Judah when no one really thought he would and put him on ***** street. And he beat other viable contenders. Did he ever fight an ATG? Well, probably not, outside of Chavez Sr who was way past it. Still, the guy had solid wins and was a beast in his prime.

Im not saying KT was a bad fighter he was a great fighter, why I said watch the Lopez fight is because he shows the blueprint as to why Phillips and Hatton beat him, if you put early Floyd Oscar Mosley etc in those fights they would blast Lopez and Phillips outa there.

Like I said KT was hell of a fighter I actually was ringside in his first pro fight against Darrel Hiles on a Jeff Fenech card, Ive always believed he was over rated and made out to be something he wasn't, another fighter that gave him heaps of trouble was Jessie Leija until he got a broken ear drum mid fight and it was stopped that was going to be a good fight and in spurts Jessie gave him all he could handle.

Top fighter yes, but I don't think he could live with the likes of Floyd Oscar or Mosley.

That must have been cool to be ringside for his debut.

Yeah, I always hoped a fight with him and Oscar would be made but they never did it. It's too bad. I would have liked to see it.
