I think Golovkin needs to be aggressive, Jacobs is dangerous but if allowed to just stand at distance and time the jab I think he will be even more dangerous.

However, if Golovkin brings the pressure and forces Jacob's to really fight I think he will take Jacobs apart much easier and as long as he is fairly careful he should not eat a fight ending shot.

And Dirrel also beat GGG or are we only talking about the time he lost?

You are only talking about the time ggg lost. And Because he beat him when it matters. Not at some dual in dirrell's hometown. People don't remember duals. They remember medals.

          Go to the body.
Slow Jacobs down to negate his superior speed with aggressive body punching.
Cut off the ring, you know you have the power to knock out Jacobs.
Tempt him to brawl with you and headhunt once you slowed him down.
          .

If Jacobs don't hurt him early to get respect it will controlled pressure and take no prisoners from GGG, Danny has got to stand him up in the first or second round with something real solid he is fkd if he cant, his only chance is to get respect early to allow him into the fight.

You know so much but yet know so little. I never mentioned Cotto here, but you MEJICANTS always carry his name in your throats. Must be that man gush you get watching his big guevos during training.

I will tell you one thing Cotto would give him a better fight than anyone on his W list.

First of all we were not talking about Trinidad, so please don't shift focus here. Second of all Trinidad had already made the full move to Middlewieght before he fought Hopkins. Trinidad had fought 3 fights at 154 then 1 fight at 160 in which he destroyed Joppy. So it's not like the case with Brooks and GGG in which Brooks jumped straight from 147 to 160.

The Hopkins that beat Trinidad was very savvy and did not make any mistakes. Hopkins was absolutely shredded Tito with distance, movement, inside savvy, and defense. That Hopkins frustrates the **** out of any fighter of any generation. He would have beat GGG that night.

We are not talking about Trinidad we are talking about Hopkins. Get with the program. And I don't think GGG would Trinidad could thump, would have been a very good fight.

You need volume to beat ggg. You can't beat him throwing 3 punches a round. Hopkins does not have the style to beat ggg.

Golovkin needs to keep his right hand-like Jab in Jacobs face and pound the body till Jacobs loses hope and then make him quit.

Pressure behind a stiff jab to keep jacobs off balance then blitz him on the ropes.

People will be surprised to see how easily ggg will toy jacobs and outbox him. Mark my words. I won't.
