golovkins tactics against jacobs...

Should he turn it into a streetfight like he did against the undefeated kell brook or should he adopt the lemiuex tactics where he showed everyone his boxing skills? If you were in abel sanchez's shoes, what tactics would you instruct golovkin with to beat number 2 ranked daniel jacobs?

golovkin can't outbox Jacobs because Jacobs has underrated boxing skills. He outboxed the slick Pirog 4-1 before the stoppage. regardless of what you think of the scoring, Pirog couldn't throw as much volume because Jacobs was just too fast.



Golovkin would have to do his usual stalk, cut off and hammer Jacobs on the ropes and in the corner. HOWEVER, this time Golovkin could be walking straight into a woodchipper combo from Jacobs. jACOBS has fast combos. he's not just a 1 punch fighter like Stevens or Lemiuex

I think he might lose a street fight. He should be the same Golovkin that beat Rosado, Stevens, Murray, etc. Hunt, strike, pursue the injured, and finish the kill. He's got a really good formula for this stuff and can wear Danny down that way.

I just can't for the life of me figure out how you have GGG beating PRIME Roy Jones Jr, Andre Ward, Ray Robinson, Hagler, etc, but having it a 50-50 fight with Jacobs.

prime RJJ was on steroids. this is a fact of history. he also has a glass chin.

Ray Robinson got blown out by Jake Lamotta(who is a bum MW). feather fisted italian dude with no skills. worse than Maidana.

hagler got boxed up by willie monroe. he's not faster than GGG. he's not bigger. he's 1 handed.
