1) Never travelled outside of the USA to fight. Fought all his big fights in his home town.

2) Was never involved in a memorable or classic fight. No one will say in the future, "did you see the fight between Mayweather and XYZ", because he refused to throw more then two punches in a combination and was always safety first.

3) Was never undisputed in his weight class.

This right here. I never watch his old fights. I watch plenty of other fighters' old fights but never his.
