Again ******, have you seen the contract that says 15 million, I haven't, I don't know anyone who has seen it, so as far as I'm concerned the 15 million is a fable, just like the fable canelo and Oscar spruiked after the khan fight that they were ready to fight GGG, then stuck their tails between their fishnets and scampered off into the night

well theres a flip side to that coin. Knowing Loefflers PR history, you cant assume what Golden Boy says is valid, just because Loeffler hasnt disputed it.

common sense tells you that golden boy isnt in the charity business, and its doubtful that their "offer" is as good as they are claiming. Its funny how for years now Oscar gets called "fishnets" or "cokehead" on these boards, and given ZERO credibility, but now just because he is saying something regarding GGG, suddenly he is some fountain of honesty and truth?

actually, gomez denied the $15 million number in an interview a few weeks back if i remember correctly. The only other place the $15 million number got mentioned was in a rafael chat. But even if we assume for the sake of discussion that the $15 million number is valid, there are many other considerations besides just the money. Is golden boy demanding options on GGG? Is golden boy inserting language regarding the money split in a potential rematch? Did golden boy insert an escape clause allowing them to back out of the deal? (very likely, considering that they put a rematch clause in the chavez deal). Did golden boy insert language that would block GGG from fighting in june? (likely, considering recent comments from gomez)

so it isnt just about the money, its about the offer in its entirety. I used to have to sift through the fight contracts that King would send me, so believe me I know what kind of nonsense can be put into a bout contract. Some of the less evolved posters here cant think that deeply though, so they hear "$15 million" and their eyes just gloss over and all critical thinking stops at that point.

there is a lot that could be in a contract or offer, that cant be denied, but to this point no one can really confirm good or bad clauses, and we will never have access to the contract, but that doesnt mean is fake... that was the point i was discussing...
