you've proven your bias by simply not requesting information by Loeffler. ''negotiations are going well.'' -Loeffler (the guy YOU criticize)

ironically you fell out of boxing yet you're lecturing contracts that anything can be written within it and clearly K2 can simply not be at fault....

And I am quite critical of Loefflers style. I cant stand the "Switzerland" routine of never wanting to offend anyone. I wish he would put the offer on blast, instead of just letting Golden Boys constant remarks go unrebutted. I also wish he had called Jacobs bluff and sent that fight to purse bid back in September. But thats between him and Golovkin, and if Golovkin is ok with the moves Loeffler makes, then thats his business.
Personally I'd rather see Oleg take the lead, because he doesnt take any crap from anyone.....Comment

K2 certainly could be at fault. Or they could not be. We dont know at this point. Its clowns like you who think you know all the intricate details and just assume the "offer" should be accepted "because 15 mil doe"

we've got boxing fans on this site reminding you that 8 figures for a ''Alvarez vs GGG'' bout is substantial. you can play the fool and limit the belief that 8 figures is strictly just 10 million.. that's fine..
but the irony starts to hit about who the A side is in boxing and the logic of general prize fighting. Alvarez has a way better resume than Golovkin. Didn't DLH have a better resume than Floyd before their aftermath? Who had to bend over to who? Who were you rooting for in that bout? If you were rooting for Oscar to win then you're supporting GBP's A side approach and nothing more.
furthermore, look at the quotes in your sig regarding the mockery of paydays. If you think 10-15 million is not substantial along with your pic of the green strap being given away, then why do you even care for this bout? The truth is, you're just plaguing back the 2010 Pac vs Floyd fiasco and in this case we ain't talking about anti doping either. just keep it simple as to who gets what. compare Pac's numbers, drawing power, before 2010 to a NOW Alvarez vs Golovkin...
it's not complicated. but of course, One Punch protecting K2 as usual as not fault from there nor from GolovkinLast edited by Lester Tutor; 03-15-2017, 10:24 AM.Comment

here is the relevant comment.....
Golden Boy has reportedly offered Golovkin a flat flee between $10 and $15 million. Gomez declined to comment on the reported amount, other than to say it was inaccurate.

this is getting tiring.
NOBODY is arguing that Canelo is not the A-side. OF COURSE he is. But that doesnt mean the GGG is some nobody who brings nothing to the dance.
And yes, 8 figures is alot of money. And if it becomes a clean, no-strings offer, I suspect K2 will ultimately accept it. But having been in the industry, and knowing the landscape, I would bet my house that it wasnt a "clean" deal. And besides, at this point what difference does it make? Whether K2 accepted it now, or continues to try and negotiate a better deal for their client, the fight isnt going to happen a SINGLE DAY SOONER.
You just want something to whine about.Comment

thanks for the link, i see he said "flat fee between 10 and 15 million was inaccurate", but that could be the flat fee part, i saw several articles indicating that the offer included a ppv upside too, who knows , it could be 10 + ppv upside with a 15 mill proyection, or 15 mill + ppv upside, or a low pct with a 15 mill guarantee only if the fight reaches certain amount... in the same article oscar said it was a combination of both, so is more likely something in the ballpark, i get it that to give an exact number to the public is really a stretch when porcentages or upside are included... but i see the interview was real... no problem on what you argued....Comment

so if it was an 8 fig offer with upside, will you consider it fair assuming there are no funny clauses??Comment
