This isn't that big of deal to me. Paulie is a bigger name than Indongo, but I'm sure Ricky is getting a much better split. Also, if he unifies, he would get even more of a split when he fights Crawford or decides to fight Broner in Vegas. Indongo is more dangerous given his size, but I think Ricky is playing the long game instead. Beating or losing to Paulie does nothing for him. A win over Indongo would get him paid....

Also, I don't really care about being undisputed if that means that you are fighting someone who is clearly below your level. Bud has already beaten Burns and I don't really need to see that again. I would be more intrigued by a Broner, Pacquiao, or Felix Diaz fight. A Burns win would make him undisputed (assuming Burns beats Indongo), but that a worse fight than Molina, Lundy, Postol, and other light WW that people are complaining about. In a year or so, I'm expecting Bud to move up to 147 and challenge Pacman for the WBO belt to keep that Top Rank cash cow going.

140 has some incoming talent, but i dont see crawford stayin there. i see crawford beating porter, thurman, garcia pretty easily right now. as soon as its clear crawford cannot lose arum will let him fight pacquiao.

would LUV to see diaz-crawford. i thought diaz was the next likely opponent.

burns-indongo is a great matchup. this is to be expected. british boxing makes better cards and matchups than the US promoters.

By the end of the year we COULD, POSSIBLY have unified Champs at 140 and at heavyweight. Exciting times.

No it isn't because he isn't. I come to that conclusion because what is mentioned is that he would have got more money fighting Malignaggi

What are you on about you delusional idiot? No one would have liked Ricky to take on Malignaggi. Paulie is shot and wouldn't be a good win at this point in any way. He made the right choice here.

I know Ricky himself is shot, but that doesn't mean he should take on shot fighters if he has any ambition left. He still wants to achieve in this sport.
