If promoters & boxers want to really stick it to the sanctioning bodies then they should all refuse to sign up with the program. All the top guys refuse then the governing bodies would have no bonafide contenders & big promoters to get sanctioning fees from. Screw the WBA/IBF/WBC & WBO. Let them go bankrupt when they got no real contenders or big money promoters to gouge. Who cares about belts anymore? With all the corruption & ridiculous amount of titles I say just stop dealing with them. Just make big money fights without the big 4 involvement. make drug testing a part of the contracted fights.

Im assuming that if they are competing for either the WBC or WBA they won't be able to opt out for USADA.

USADA is still the gold standard of random testing in the US, with Track&Field, Cycling, Olympic sport, etc all still keeping their faith in USADA.

Boxing, as far as I can tell, is the only sport that bothers with VADA (and the only reason that boxing even bothers with VADA is because the better system costs more than twice as much).

Anyone with the willingness to front the costs, chooses to go with USADA and that likely won't change

Great to see WBA step up like the WBC and at least ATTEMPT to clean up the sport!
