For me, any fight on this level should have testing anyway. I think it's ridiculous that in 2017 in a sport like boxing, it's not the standard all across the board. Anyway, even if not in the contract then i believe fighters should be willing to get tested either way.

The more fighters that volunteer to get tested, the more it will put pressure on other guys to do the same or people will assume they have something to hide. Willingness to do it is another way to clean up the sport and weed out the guys that have something to hide.

There's not 1 reason why Spence shouldn't be tested, even if its not in print in the contract. If he's as good as he says, then removing any element of doubt that he isn't clean will only enhance his reputation.

On a serious note though, I don't care if it's contracted or not, Spence should do testing. We know this is slowly becoming the norm and every top fighter should be tested. I don't care who it is. I'd make the same argument for anyone. I don't make a big deal about it when both aren't being tested because they're both playing on an even field at least.
