    Has Lemieux surpassed Murray?

Murray would obviously have spanked Lemieux earlier, as Lemieux was losing left and right to random guys like Alcine, Golovkin and Rubio. He was not just a victim, but a victim of the Golovkin victims. Now, he did KO Stevens and it looked like he is finally starting to evolve as a fighter. I am starting to think that he may actually be better than Murray now, but I'm not sure if I would go that far for beating Stevens. What do you think?

He also beat up d'hdam pretty good and has a win over rosado, he's probably about equal with murray in my eyes. Aside from GGG lemeuix has won his last 13 fights..

    He's pretty good

Why is a win against Rosado even worth mentioning? The guy is a bum, so is Stevens, C class fighter.

Lemieux would use Murray as a human punching bag. The guy always falls short on the world level.

The best thing you can say about Murray is he can take a lot of punishment. Which against someone like Lemieux is gonna be a long and painful night.

Im not sure murray would have ever beaten lemeiux...martin murray liked what the brits call an old fashioned tear up...think ricky hatton or michael katsidis style...he was tough and gritty but definitely not a thinker. Lemeuix is not the smartest fighter either...unlike golovkin he is not an accumulator....he either hits you or he doesnt...but murray is known to get hit ...a lot...and with that level of power...i dont think he makes it out.

Martin Murray peaked against Sergio Martinez. He got robbed against Felix Sturm and he got robbed against Sergio Martinez. No doubt in my mind. Idiots will dispute that fact without seeing the fights. Martin Murray, at 30 years old, should have been WBA Super, WBC and RING magazine Middleweight champion with a record of 27-0 (11 KO). His resume would have boasted wins over Sturm and Martinez in their backyards.

However, he did get robbed. Ever since then he has been in decline. He has never reached those performance levels since and has looked like trash on several occasions. His career doesn't really have any direction to it now and it appears he's lost the ambition, treats boxing as a source of income now. Could see him being lined up as an opponent for one of the British Super Middleweight champions but he'll just be making up the numbers.
