Comments Thread For: Miguel Cotto Return Date Remains in Limbo, Time Running Out

Time is running out for former four division world champion Miguel Cotto (40-5, 33 KOs), who plans to retire at the end of the year but wants to have at least two fights before walking off for good. The Puerto Rican superstar has been out of the ring since November of 2015, when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

As much as a Cotto fan I used to be, I seriously couldn't care less anymore. Although it wasnt't his fault that the fight fell through, whenever he fights it is always like this, as if boxing couldn't stay afloat without him.

Just fight whoever man, inactivity is gonna bite you in the ass

I agree but I had to make a few changes: Bradley, Khan, or Andrade!

Cotto vs Lemeiux. David's stock is high after his wreaking ball right hand left hook detonated on Stevens' chin. Not sure Cotto takes the fight or is able to hold Lemeiux off. I can see Cotto seeking a CW to drain Lemmy due to his struggle to make 160.
The other fight I'd like for Cotto is Bradley. Winnable for both fighters, although Cotto may be to big for TB.
