ggg has to hit you with like 500 shots to ko you. hes what i would call an accumulation pillow puncher. angulo ko'd rosado in 2 and ggg could barely hurt him. took ggg 10 rounds to get a corner stoppage and lemiuex knocked stevens out cold.

you just discribed accumulation ,GGG is not pillow puncher but his not some monster puncher eitherr ,he places many accurate shots to stop opponents.

Lemieux probably does hit harder but he is pretty basic. Golovkin sets his shots up with superior technique and accuracy and he is very heavy handed. He isnt a one punch KO artist really like Julian Jackson, he breaks you down and takes your will or your orbital bone. I think his power has been overrated to a degree but even saying that he hits very hard. You dont stop 20+ opponents in a row and not have world class power. Stevens probably hits harder with one shot.

He probably does honestly but hitting harder doesn't assuring anything in boxing. Casuals overrate the *** out of Power like Lampley does they think it is the end all be all in boxing which has been proven time and time again to be FALSE

Overall Skills>Power and GGG is just more SKILLED than Lemieux and knew how to setup his Power Better. Broke Lemieux down and tamed Lemiuex Power with a Stiff Jab all night before breaking him down and eventually stopping him.

Golovkin doesnt spark guys straight out because hes being responsible defensively and intelligent to not waste punches. If he went out there swinging for the fences he'd be near killing alot more guys, but his punches are more set up to land rather than spark.

I don't think he hits harder than Golovkin! From what i have seen of the fight? Curtis Steven's was walking forward showing Lemieux less respect in comparison to Golovkin! and its when fighters embody this attitude, they are SUSCEPTIBLE to being SPARKED OUT! (And that is exactly what has happened to him!).....

You can tell how hard fighters hit, by looking at how much respect their opponents give them! (And this respect forces them to anticipate and ride shots more often!)...

He still hasn't stopped a top 10 opponent, you won't catch quality opponents often enough with those loaded up hooks that aren't coming behind anything to set them up.
