ggg has to hit you with like 500 shots to ko you. hes what i would call an accumulation pillow puncher. angulo ko'd rosado in 2 and ggg could barely hurt him. took ggg 10 rounds to get a corner stoppage and lemiuex knocked stevens out cold.

Well it's certainly not a stretch to think Lemieux hits harder than Golovkin. But it doesn't really matter. GGG is the far superior fighter, and he has great power himself.

It's about styles. GGG is stalking his opponents and slowly creates openings and breaks them down. It's not about going for the knockout with him, they come naturally.
Lemieux just goes balls to the wall and uses nearly fullpower on all his power punches.

Guys who stand in front of Lemieux and have defensive deficiencies will get bumrushed, but GGG has way better precision and knows how to land punches.
As soon as Lemieux fights defensive guys coupled with a decent chin, he will look less impressive.
