I knew this guy was never gonna shut up if he wins.. wilder knocks him out if that happens. At cruiserweight I believe the other guys like Usyk, Gassiev and Lebedev beat him.Comment

Some of the people I consider wise as posters here all have weighed in on this. People like Red Fox are typical of the attitude which states: "Yeah Toney is talking a bit, but Haye asked for it." I share this belief as well.
Why are people so hostile? Let the guy have some fun...He put some nuts on the line, he sold the fight, his family had to deal with the conventional wisdom... Toney had a cool head and went in with a plan. He did an excellent job!
History tells us that the Samurai defeated the Mongol Hordes...twice! it does not necessarily emphasize that a divine wind (Kamikazee) came in both times and wiped out a good amount of the Mongol Horde forces! The Samurai could have just surrendered though....then people would see Khan ryu Ju Jutsu in the octogan, an art developed by Mongol forces and Japan expatriates... The thing is at the end of the day the Japanese won.
Toney is enjoying his Carl's junior burger...anyone remember that commercial? with the beautiful girls eating a sloppy burger with the caption..."leave me alone, arghhh!" Toney has every right to enjoy his victory, he earned it! his grand kids will listen to this story when they are grown up and no doubt it might even grow a bit! "ah yeah Toney was told that the viscious Haye could decapitate him and told his wife no matter what happens bury the head with the body!"
Just like watching a beautiful woman tear into a burger, I am enjoying watching Toney relish this victory. Toney is not that different from the everyday "scousers" that go to work for the man, have to deal with the tv guys, the boot men, the new immigrants that have expectations, etc. Toney is one of them. He found a way, with grit, and scrapping along, putting a few victories together, he talked himself in and delivered.
Bless Toney Bellew!! Enjoy it Toney you earned it and in your moment of glory when Haye went down, you literally BLEW past hearn to make sure Haye was all right. And when you had the stage the first words out of your mouth were regarding the mouths you feed and the woman who sees you through. THATS ALL I NEED TO HEAR! Anyone can put on aftershave folks but that is a mensch!! No Toney may not have the perfect curves, the body of a weightlifter but if my ass was against the wall, thats the kind of scouser I want by my side! And there are some of us who struggle and our women, our kids know whats it like to have to be part of the fight... Bless Toney Bellew for being one of those "us".
Let this man have his fun. Nobody will mistake him for a great fighter, I promise. But when we talk about toughness and taking it to the man Toney bellew bears a resemblance to the old timers.Comment
