Again, the KO was impressive but it was Curtis Stevens he stopped...

Broner emulates Floyd because of the whole 'imma take over boxing once the big bro retires' bs thing he used to have going on... The only fight he lost so far was to a guy who's a better boxer than him. And, as much as Iike him, Lemieux isn't that.

This is why (to me) Golovkin is the favourite against Canelo: he has the skills to outbox him... Power will help too but won't be a deciding factor.

Curtis Stevens is a better comparison to Canelo than Lemiuex to that old ass shop worn Angulo lol

Curtis is just as big as Canelo. Curtis is faster than Canelo. Curtis is a harder puncher than Canelo. legit KO power at MW and above which Canelo has never demonstrated.

So yeah. What does Canelo do well again? OH RIGHT some Broner skills that would easily get smothered by a man with size a chin.

Now imagine that was a legit 180 lber Lemule. He would keel Canelo over.
The rest may have been to having to make 154. We have no idea how fighting at 160 will affect Canelo. It may increase his stamina. Who knows?

I'm afraid I'm too tired to give a **** about your 'based on triangle theories' opinions on a sport that triangle theories don't work in. So let's agree to disagree.

If the fight ever gets made I'll hit you up with a real money bet. Have a good one.

I didn't even see the fight tonight and I can say that's unlikely.

To any boxing expert or true boxing fan, it is very obvious Lemule is a serious threat to Canelo. Regardless of what people think about the GGG/Canelo situation, the fact that Canelo went for the easiest titleholder in Liam Smith and now a highly underachieving Chavez Junior tells me there is no way Canelo is going to face a guy in Lemule who is MUCH faster and hits MUCH harder than either Smith or Chavez Jr. Canelo fights those type guys for a reason.

                    correct.

any critical thinking boxing analyst should be able to tell that Canelo's style is identical to Broner's. both Mayweather wannabes that don't have footspeed.

this style does not do well against power-punching swarmers of the same size or bigger.
