Regarding Lemieux, it's incorrect I think to say that he's not a top fighter--he's among the top-ranked middleweights and a former world champion. He's just not Canelo. Or, Manny, or Floyd. Once you clear the list of those kinds of people, yes Lemieux belongs.

I agreed with that comment earlier

he is obviously a top10 middleweight in this poor era

but not a top fighter historically

I think Canelo would totally outclass him

I've seen some KO's in my time but holy **** this KO was something special. Julian Jackson style KO.

It was curtains for Stevens as soon as the punch landed. Vicious stuff folks.

David Lemieux should not be slept on.

Stevens got flattened out cold probably finished his career bye

Midget compact little strong man Stevens got Ko'd in fine fashion. But Stevens is nothing but a bottom feeder anyway and not a contender. Stevens needs some tatoos in white ink so we can actually see them better. Never got the point why coloreds get tats in black ink?

i would love to see Canelo - Lemieux.
i'd back Canelo but I'm not sure about outclassing him.

Canelo has not been in with anyone nearing that kind of power, and probably would not risk being as aggressive as normal

                  the late 80's, for one.....

because it was filled with skilled contenders, many of whom were genuine world-class fighters.....

I think that the difference in skill would be apparent early, and Canelo would expose Lemieux badly

I see Canelo as a highly skilled world-class fighter, on the up

and I see Lemieux as a mid-level tough guy..... more than an unskilled puncher, but not much more..... who has already been exposed by guys who were not world-class either
