Canelo could just have offered to defend his title, done the basic champ challenger split, and Golovkin would've had to take it, or forever hold his tongue. But now, because they surrendered the belt, whatever happens looks, the impression is that Canelo (Oscar) is ducking.

not only does jacobs have no chance to win he won't last as long as stevens or lemieux did.

Of course Jacobs has a puncher's chance.

So what if one of them gets beat? It's the match up that you want to see right? Oh wait..."we'd already be....rolling in the money". Hmmmm....

Before I even read the article, I knew Lemiiuex would say GGG and Stevens would say Jacobs how predictable was that.

I'm thinking back to Bowe Lewis getting constantly pushed back by defeats until the fight was lost for good. The fight is nowhere near as big if one of them takes a defeat, particularly if it's bad. Boxing needs this kind of thing to stop. We would be on the rematch, and yeah, id make a fair bit of money because I'd be betting Golovkin on points, was 3 to 1 at William Hill.
