Because it gives him the appearance that he is just shopping himself to the highest bidder. I want to see fighters strive to become the next Mayweather not be in the game to cash out off of his name. He had the opportunity to be great by moving up and fighting Ward but they turned their nose up at that opportunity.

So fighting a 40 year old welterweight is ok but taking a risk and fighting someone you will be an underdog against is absurd? I can't cosign that mentality. I grew up watching fighters that moved up in weight and challenged themselves against the best. I demand the same from this new era of fighters.
