why do mayweather fans get so defensive about him fighting GGG?

Whenever the fight gets mentioned theres usually an aggressive response, people saying 'noones heard of golovkin' 'its not a big fight' 'golovkins a bum' etc

If im not mistaken mayweathers fought at 154 before, so if GGG can make 154 then why cant the fight happen? Or is mayweather only interested in fights that he knows he will 100 percent win? If so, isnt that a duck?

Why is it some crazy thing for that fight to happen? Good chance GGG will be drained at 154 too which would negate the size advantage.

Do people genuinely think golovkin v mayweather wouldnt be a big fight? Would it not be a big addition to mayweathers CV?

And if hes as overrated as you all say, and that brook exposed him at 160, shouldnt it be a walk in the park for mayweather and the ideal opponent to go 50-0 on?

You look defensive too, to be fair. You want 40 year old Mayweather in the ring with GGG to prove how good GGG is yet Canelo is there ready and available for GGG to cement his legacy in history.

Spence and Floyd threaten your insides way too much.

Why do you so desperately want GGG to fight a retired 40 year old two divisions smaller?

If Golovkin beat a 40 year old retired WW do you think he'd get any credit? Lil G should be looking up not down. Pacquiao and Mayweather got to where they were because they moved up not down. It's OK though, you know as well as i that Golovkin can't beat an A level fighter bigger than himself. That's why Mayweather is an ATG and Lil G will never be.

you seem like one of those people who say you want the fight at 154 then turn around And say the only reason why he took the fight was because he knew ggg would be weight drained.

Also you have to think about why he would fight floyd at that weight but wouldnt fight canelo at a higher weight all though a little below the middle weight limit. Its because he would still have a huge weight advantage come fight night.

Golovkin might be moving to 168....

Which means there'd be more pressure then in fighting Ward or Kovalev

I repeat, Golovkin will be going to 168 soon...
