Don't play dumb, Brook was a last second fill for Eubank. That fight was worth alot of money, where Lara isn't.

Lara hasn't done anything of relevance since he fought Alvarez 3 years ago! There's no draw for Lara, yet his manager even said they'd expect over $1mill to fight Golovkin. So if a Lara fight isn't going to generate anymore money than say a Wade or Monroe fight, and Lara is demanding big money, why the hell would the fight happen? If Lara really wanted it, he should've grabbed a mandatory shot vs Blanco, T.Johnson, or Heiland, or he should've been fighting bigger fights at 154 instead of retired WW's.

Nothing wrong with Charlo being inserted at #2. In all honesty he should be inserted at #1, Heiland is Euro trash. The middleweight division is fairly weak. If you look at the WBC rankings, they are even weaker. It would be a crime if Charlo was placed any lower. He'd smash scrubs like Lemieux and Stevens.

Nope, he has a rating and should end up no1 contender so GGG should fight him. As far as I know Lara hasn't moved up even verbally. Just remember Charlo is a good fighter, before he magically becomes a bum like Jacobs already is in some eyes.

It ****** to fight Golovkin right away. He'll get beat.
He should fight a couple of solid contenders first and then see if he has to make some adjustments.

Just remember this sentiment when/if Charlo will be scheduled to fight GGG. Don't change your tune and say that he is small and unproven. And after GGG does a job on him, do not say that Charlo was never any good anyway. Deal?

Don't worry I actually follow boxing and watch it. I have never once said Murray or Wade or a WW were a danger to G. I never at even considered him fighting Wade and a WW, I thought even he was above that. But nope, that was G's 2016. How about giving Charlo credit by not comparing him to freaking Wade and a freakin guy two divisions lower. G is what 35?? And Jacobs will be by far the best opponent he has ever fought. Who's the best he has fought so far??? Murray? Honestly?!? Yea, Charlo is a heck of a lot better than anyone G has ever faced as a pro. He coulda made five times by signing the contract to fight Canelo. Instead he jumped on the chance to fight a WW. And now, he is facing Jacobs who is good, but still not as good as Canelo. Which is why he's fighting Jacobs instead of facing Canelo for about five times the most he has ever made. A freakin 35 year old finally stepping up a little bit. Baby steps, huh?

What are you talking about? There was no contract to fight Canelo till Sept 2017.
