        If you compare both guys opposition in 49 fights, he has a point.....Floyd defeated over 20 top ten contenders and champions whereas Marciano may have fought 6-8.....

          Ali was great and he was hated in the beginning, he became more of a public figure on the back of boxing and his humanitarian roles immortalized him.
