I already read the IBF rules. The ones who apparently need to read them is Team Beterbiev.

And trust me, the last person who needs to be talking 'educational' is someone as ignorant as you. Your sig and avi show your fanboyism. Something you're blinded by.

All good then... So you know that the IBF couldn't issue that notice unless both parties had signed the agreement, right ?

"According to the IBF rules, GYM had to submit an official contract for the fight until February 17th, including date and site. On the eve, on February 16th, I received a standard IBF contract for the fight, signed it and sent it back to my promoter. The same contract was sent to Barrera. After receiving both contracts the IBF confirmed the fight which was scheduled on April 21th in Miami, where Barrera trains and lives." "On February 22th, Barrera started a notorious twitter war against my promoter trying to get more money from GYM. Kathy Duva even had to intervene by responding to her fighter that he must see his manager and lawyer. To cut this sad story short, I would like to repeat again: our 21th April fight in Miami was officially approved by the IBF and scheduled to take place. So whatever Barrera says, he refused the fight scheduled by the IBF." - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/artur-bet....8F5lufog.dpuf

You are joking, right???? A loss or lack of a loss has absolutely nothing in and of itself to do with what a fighter makes, this is common boxing knowledge! I can name a bunch of fighters with losses that got a lot more than the unbeaten fighters they faced. This goes without saying! I can produce a list but I will charge you. PayPal and cash only, no personal checks.

This is all on Gym. If you got so much trouble finding decent opponents for your fighter, and a credible guy agrees, you gotta negotiate and overpay the guy. These jacka$$es went to purse bids immediately, with the 75/25 split. No **** it falls through. Why wasn't there a TV date for this quality fight anyway?

Then people just take whatever fits their agenda.

Bull**** money, no venue, some bull**** contract trying to manipulate things. Pffftt
This is true. The promotion was non-existent, but we knew where the bout was taking place and the tickets actually went on sale. I don't know what the hell happened with Barrera-Beterbiev, but it's what I'd call a cluster-fuck. Too bad, too. We all wanted to see this fight.

Here's Beterbievs promoter saying the contract wasn't signed.

"Barrera never signed his contract to fight Beterbiev and we know now never intended to fight Beterbiev," Michel told ESPN. "
