To say Floyd and Manny are "genetically superior" to other boxers is another way of saying they have a "natural" advantage. But saying this without any clinical evidence is pure speculation.
Someone could just as easily say their advantage was "unatural" and due to PED use. This claim would also be speculation but drug testing in boxing is still poor and in the prime of both Pac and Floyd's careers it was terrible.
If I had to speculate whether the advantage both enjoyed over other fighters was natural or drug related, I'd have to lean toward drugs.

Best articles on NSB - but maybe change to weekly bread? Well done and thank you! The only thing I would argue with is that Danny Jacobs is a top 25 fighter in the world. That has me baffled before the loss, never mind after it. That can only be on resume. But surely we have to look at what his current level is in the current division - or at least the last few fights. If you told me top 25 after the matthyse fight I'd agree. Since then he would have only slid down the pecking order imo.

Cant say about the drugs but all those weight class leaps is impossible for 99.99% of fighters - drugs or not.

But if you gonna claim that they were juicing because of poor drug testing then you have to say the other fighters were also juicing due to poor drug testing, and if all of them were juicing and yet Manny and Floyd were still a cut above the rest, then it goes back to what Breadman said, that Pac and Floyd were genetically superior.

I'm not really interested by fantasy non realistic era fights such as Tyson/Ali, so could we please have a discussion of what could of/should of, such as Hatton/Witter, Lewis/Bowe, Conteh/Gonzalez & the Nelson/Mitchell/McGuigan trilogy which should have all happened? Anyone got anymore?

What I'm saying is unless you can show some evidence of genetic superiority it's just speculation. It's the same with PEDS, no proof equals rumor rather than fact.
Either one could be true, but maybe Pac and Floyd just had more desire and trained longer, harder and smarter than their competition
