Hayes own fault for creating unrealistic expectations by saying he'd knock Bellew out with a jab ect. I think he'd have won had his leg not have gone, but there weren't any signs he was stopping Bellew. Best money fight for Tony still I think.

I think he went into the fight with an injury which is why Bellew lasted until the injury in the first place. He certainly didn't look right- no accuracy, no timing, and looping his punches. His movement looked poor and he seemed to be rushing the fight. I think he was fighting injured and it finally went pop in round 6. Didn't pull out beforehand because he knew he couldn't for his reputation, and probably thought he had enough to beat Bellew anyway. Well, he had enough to win the fight had it not gone pop, but never looked like knocking him out, he lacked the spark. And that's not usually something you say about Haye.
Hopefully the rematch happens.Comment

Hahaha! Bellew couldn't stop a One-Legged-Sittin-Duck but he thinks he's gonna stop Haye, when Haye will take him more seriously next time around!! Bellew and his team are seriously delusional, especially his trainer who's acting like he trained the next Muhammed Ali, haha, Absolute jokers!!Comment

Yeah, Haye looked terrible. His technique was absolutely awful. Speed, movement, accuracy...all very very poor.I think he went into the fight with an injury which is why Bellew lasted until the injury in the first place. How much of that was down to any pre fight injury I don't know. I think he's just finished at top level. Credit to Bellew though, tactically he fought pretty perfectly in the first 5. Haye has never, ever been able to fight moving forwards and that showed. He was clueless.
Tony will milk the win and say it was "the best Haye", but really he knows it wasn't. If it wasn't for all the big money fights being at HW he should go back to CW because he'll get done in badly against a decent, young and fit HW.Comment

You ain't stopping **** mate. The only thing your capable of stopping is a taxi on the corner of george street and liverpool street and I doubt you can do that properly.Comment

i like the bomber but, in this fight with david haye.....oh please.
he NEVER stopped him, he never kod him and he only won on an injury THAT.....haye carried to the 11th round when the ref and the very inexperienced trainer shane mcguigan threw the towel in so, not being able to do what many would think should have been done in the same round as the injury taking place doesnt earn ANY credibility of either knocking haye out OR winning in an injury free fight against him.
i did believe that haye would ko bellew early but in fairness he rode alot of big shots but it would only have been a matter of time before the hayemakers landed.
in an injury free fight its david haye by ko.
christ almighty, the ****s carrying on like the *****!!!!Comment
