Gomez: Loeffler and gg putting Canelo fight in jeopardy!??

Prior to Canelo-Chavez being announced, Abel was talking about their team's desire to face Chavez after Jacobs, which leads me to believe that a fight with Canelo isn't really a priority for them at this moment. I think they'd rather continue building up GGG's name so they'll have more leverage in negotiations down the line. Keep in mind that they initially hadn't even responded to the eight figure offer presented to them by GB.Comment

The whole K2 squad wanted Chavez since 2015 at 168 because it "makes financial sense."Prior to Canelo-Chavez being announced, Abel was talking about their team's desire to face Chavez after Jacobs, which leads me to believe that a fight with Canelo isn't really a priority for them at this moment. Whereas Nelo vs Chavez jr has been talked about in the Mexican circuit since 2010.Comment

Whatever, man. All I know is they'll look primetime ****** if they turn down Saunders and the Canelo fight falls through... again. Besides, 3 months should be enough to promote.Comment

You're obviously not a promoter it takes time to promote a fight of that magnitude
I wouldn't expect you to understand thatComment

Canelo is fighting just 30 days earlier, give me a break.
Golovkin fighting in June builds more interest for a September fight than him going on some lame talk shows with his broken english.
Canelo's own promoters - Hopkins/Dela Hoya fought separate fights in June '04, then fought one another in a mega fight in September '04. All this talk of Golovkin jeopardizing the fight is just GB pulling a new excuse out of their *ss to avoid the fight.Comment

You're a promoter then? Indeed I am not. Maybe you're right. I think it's doable though. Regardless, Golovkin would still be ****** to pass on a possible Saunders fight given the history with Canelo, especially when Oscar's been talking about the possibility of a Jr rematch if it does well.Comment

And I would have thought that the fight being for the undisputed MW crown (should Golovkin fight and beat Saunders) would more than make up for the loss of 1 months BS promotion, but then, as Aldo pointed out above, I ain't a promoter, so maybe I don't understand...Canelo is fighting just 30 days earlier, give me a break.
