GGG has a bunch of phuking idiots running his career. If you wanted to squeeze in 2 fights before facing Canelo in Sept then it's your phuk up for not signing with Jacobs earlier. Golden Boy told you last year Sept is when the fight will be and asking them to push back the date or risk GGG getting injured or limiting how much money they can generate because GGG got Ren and Stimpy running his career and couldn't get Jacobs deal done till March. You can't make this stuff up how inept K2 is at. A Saunders fight is peanuts compared to what you have on the table and low priority. You can always fight Saunders after or as a backup plan if the Canelo fight falls apart. But to sign on to make this fight and put a Canelo fight in unnecessary jeopardy is next level ******. But hey nothing surprises me with K2. They have turned down or phuked up too many big fights for me to be shocked.

Anyone considered becoming the unified middleweight champion in his home country may be more important to him than the Canelo fight.

I don't think there's any danger of K2 not taking the Saunders fight. Golovkin has always wanted to unify the Division and take all the belts. He's said that right from the beginning and he doesn't have a ring in his nose to be led around like some other fighters we know.

i don't get it, if GGG think they can fight and JUN and SEP, what's the problem? proper time to promote this fight? all they have to do is announce the damn fight.

That's fine but then don't say Canelo is the one ducking GGG. And if it's more important to fight that loser Saunders for another meaningless paper belt at the expense of a Canelo fight then GGG needs to fire whoever is advising him. Saunders or whoever has his belt will ALWAYS be there. Fights that pay you as much as a Canelo fight or have the ability to take your career to another level are rare.

your thought process is that of a child who needs his daddys permission.

K2 should tell Golden boy to kick rocks, go get Saunders strap, and if Canelo ever mans up and wants a middleweight title then send it to purse bid and get 50-50 or better.

If this fight gets signed, it sells itself. There's no "screwing up plans" if GGG gets Saunders in June. Pathetic stuff if that's really how they feel. Unfortunate that the guy who wants to be more active than twice a year gets this kind of response. And that goes for any fighter. Wanting to be more active shouldn't be used against you, especially if that extra fight accomplishes what you been set out to do for years.

You mean like it was more important for Canelo to fight that loser Liam Smith for another meaningless paper belt?
