So if Canelo is fighting on 6-May & GGG on 10-June how much of promotions will it affect in just a month? 16-Sep is when the Mexican Independence Day weekend is.. Do they not have ample time to promote the fight in from June - Sep..

It's not Golden Boy's fault that K2 dycked around with Jacobs and screwed up the original Dec date. Because they were trying to pinch pennies they lost the HBO date and had to push it back to March now they trying to squeeze in 1 more fight before Sept is just ******. Not only does it shorten your time to promote the fight what if GGG get's cut or suffers any kind of injury? Then Sept fight is out the window. Signing a fight with Saunders should be their BACKUP plan if they don't get the Canelo fight in Sept. Otherwise it's nobodies fault but K2 if they don't fight Canelo in Sept first complaining about wanting more then 15 mil now you trying to shoe horn a 3rd fight of the year?
It's official K2 are a bunch of phuking amateurs. If you land the Canelo you making more then GGG has made what his last 5 fights combined? So sit back wait till sept don't do anything to phuk up the fight especially to fight Saunders in a fight that will pay GGG what 2-3m max? SMH Not worth the risk.Comment

Anyway, they should make the unification with Billy Joe. And if Canelo fight doesn't happen in September they should move on and move up even though there's no big money fight in SMW.
I still think that Ward fight will happen, especially if he beats Kovalev in the rematch. Just a hunch though...
Canelo will forever be remembered as a coward. It's all Oscar's fault obviously but Canelo will take the hit. Oh well

Exactly it's business Canelo is the A side and the biggest draw in the sport asking him to move his date just because GGG says so and wants to dyck around with a Saunders fight? That's like Berto asking Floyd hey I know you maximize your money by always fighting on the Cinco de mayo and Mexican Independence day but I want to go fight somebody else first can we just push our fight off to Nov? GGG knows the days Canelo fights and Golden Boy is telling them how much time they need to properly promote and maximize the event. If GGG is willing to put up another roadblock, last year weight, now GGG out his own mouth asking for 50/50 split, now they trying to take a fight in June?
