I disagree. That Angel clown has nothing to do with it. He actually spoiled what should have come naturally between 2 fighters. I could see that Thurman's antics started getting into Danny skin. I would have preferred to see the trash talking developed further between the fighters, not some dad against his son's opponent.

Well the main event for that UFC card came on about 45mins after the Thurman Garcia, I was able to catch it. And except for the last round I can say it was a shisst UFC fight. Very underwhelming with a questionable result.

great numbers! sadly though, many of those views were from casuals that won't tune in again due to a lack of action in those mid rds. even the dam arena was booing

I agree. TV coverage is important in getting a fighter known. PPV is killing boxing.

Thurman's stock will start to raise. He gained 5K followers this week. Not much, but obviously better than nothing. In time the casuals will start researching Thurman's highlights on Youtube. It will catch on.

Very true. But at least anyone who likes watching track and field was entertained by Thurman in the last 3 rounds.

Says who? How do you know that?

Boxing fans always assume the worst. I was in the arena and there were periods in a couple of rounds when some people were booing, but they were Danny Garcia fans who were booing Thurman. The fight wasn't Gatti-Ward, but it wasn't so boring it will chase fans away.

Packed electric arena...monster KO in the opening fight...good (though admittedly not great) fight...entertaining action...right result in terms of judging. Biggest primetime audience in nearly 20 years.

                      A solid win for boxing.
